CAVEAT: unlikely to be both HEPA and “Active” charcoal activated Take care with ordering these Miele SF-HA 50 Active HEPA filter for Models S4, S5, S6, & S8 – Genuine Miele Product. If you look carefully, you’ll see the product picture shows a different model code: “SF-AH 50” than what is in the title of this listing. Because It’s a Miele I have a Miele, and this is the HEPA portion of it. That said – I would feed my Miele anything it needed, as it’s the best, quietest vacuum I’ve ever used. One turns it on and always wonders how it can be so quiet – and is always astonished at its suction strength. Obviously one can determine the suction power, but on the highest setting it actually picks up the heavy oriental carpet and every pet hair on it. As for it also having the HEPA filter (be sure you get the actual Miele one for a sure fit), it is said to last for a year; I used the original one longer only because I hadn’t registered the ‘one year’ usage – but that didn’t seem to affect performance though may not have filtered as effectively as otherwise. In any case, Vive Miele!
